If you want to see a play that will really grip and interest you. Go and see “Fair” at the Trafalgar Studios in the West End  by Joy Wilkinson a brilliant young prize winning playwright. If you want to get West End Tickets and can only see one play this year, then this is it.

This hit play of 2005 returns from its UK tour.

Super reviews "Brilliant... Searing, but subtle... Show of the week" Time Out "As near to bliss as you can get" The Stage "A very good play for today" The Guardian.

The joke that underpins Joy Wilkinson’s wickedly humorous new play is that the racist Railton and the middle class lefty Melanie have already met by chance and spent the night together - all before realising that they are political enemies. The play asks some interesting questions. Can hatred be handed down from father to son? In the wake of a race riot in a Lancashire town, twentysomething Railton plans to honour his dead, right wing father’s memory by holding a St George’s Fair, a traditional English event, while Melanie is organising a rival multicultural festival.
