If you don’t get much time in London do make time to go to Covent Garden to eat and browse – it is stylish and lively and Undoubtedly one of London's liveliest and most chic areas – I really enjoy the buzz of the place. Covent Garden has a number of open-air eateries with different kinds of foods and trendy shops in the old piazza square and market area. When you sit down to enjoy your food you will be able to watch the fun of the street entertainers ! I believe that in medieval times Covent Garden originally supplied produce to Westminster Abbey. The covered central market was originally designed for this same purpose, although it now contains an loads of small shops selling antiques, books, and arts and crafts. Save up before you go!  .
